what happens if dc supply is given to the transformer?
Answer Posted / b.sivayya
transformer is not connected to dc.in dc there is no
frequeny.there no changes in frequency and dc is given to
primary there flux is produced but these flux is not
change.so there is no back emf so the secondary current is
equal to primary current so large current is flows through
the windings .so the winding is burn..
