Diesel needs to be broken into a smaller state (tiny
drops). In a petrol engine this doesn't happen. So the fuel
cant burn. A diesel is timed for the slow ignition of the
diesel fuel (that's where the sound comes from.) If you
where to put petrol in a diesel it would ignite the sec.
the injector fires it into the cylinder and the piston
wouldn't be at top dead center. So when the petrol burned
(exploded) it would fight the piston coming up.
