Market mapping is the syurvey done by the organisation to
understand customer requirements & how other products are
positioned in the market. Market mapping gives idea about
companies share in the market & what are the diffrent
strategies adopted by other organisations. The activity is
generally done by visiting cement counters & filling up
questionary'
market share can be drawn by taking the total market
potential into consideration and our sales in that area. If
the market potential is 1000 pmt. & our sales in that area
500pmt. then our market share is 50%.
