Actually equal and opposite torque acts on both stator and
rotor......but in ceiling fan rotor is fixed that's why it
cant rotor,so what rotates is stator or the outer part of
the machine.
Another interesting thing to observe-why ceiling fan
rotates in clockwise direction while table fan in
anticlockwise direction.......because in table fan the inner
part is rotating (i.e. rotor is rotating).

In electrical what is earth(ground)connection, wht is the importance of it, why it is recomended to maitain below 3VAC between Neutral and earthspecially in PLC used machines?
