What is the difference between Isolator annd Circuit
Breaker.
Answer Posted / sameera
Isolator are off load device it is not use for making &
breaking current. Therefore it not has making & breaking
current for the capacitors.
Eventhough the isolator is used to operate with zero
current these are instantaneous in which this are used
under load condition. Then the isolator act as on load
device.
Circuit breaker is switching 7 current interrupting device
& operate under normal & abnormal condition.
