necessary Journal entry for this.

Answer Posted / gangadhar das

As far as I'm concern, you hv paid excess amount in the
month of feb i.e. Rs 15000 instead of Rs 12000 and u hv nt
paid the full rent in the month of march.

Feb month

Rent A/c Dr 12000
Prepaid Rent A/c Dr 3000
To Bank/Cash A/c 15000

Month of March

Rent A/c Dr 12000
To Prepaid Rent A/c 3000
To Bank/Cash A/c 3000
To outstanding rent A/c 6000
