Answer Posted / balu

There are two CT output current. 5A or 1A. These are
standard outputs. There many measuring and protective
instruments will be connected to this secondary. So these
instruments designed for the output of this current. Based
on the customer primary current, the multiple factor can be
programmed to measure primary current. So, it reduces
customization .

In a power conditoining unit (inverter) of a solar plant when we measure the d.c. current fed by different strings of solar plates to inverter, the current in the negative wire is less almost by 1 ampere to the current in its positive wire say current in positive wire 5 A , then current in negative wire of the same string is 4 A. Since the current entering should be equal to current leaving then why the current is noticably less in negative wire.

why do motors burn out? I understand why adding parallel loads to a power source means more current moves through the circuit, and can destroy circuit elements by overheating. What about when you have a vaccuum cleaner intake flush against a floor, a room fan sitting directly against a wall, or a power drill trying to drill through something too hard?
