how to find insulation resistance of a generator(11kv) by

Ins. Resistance = Sys.Voltage + 1
so IR in thsi case will be = 11kV + 1
So IR = 12MOhm.
A thumb rule is that Per kV of Sys Voltage must have 1MOhm
of Insulation resistance.
