application,use and Rating. The rating Is generally in Kv
for distribution Transformers and in MVA and Kv class
rating for Power Transformers.
The Transformers are also Classifed as
Three Phase , Single Phase Transformers
The Classification of transformers is as follows.
Distribution Transformers (Dry Type or Oil Filled)
Power Transformers
Furnace Transformers
Rectfier Transformers
Reactors
Locomotic Transformer
Thers are also Cast Resin Type Transformers and Oil filled
Transformers

Kv class Power Transformers
And the Only corporation to have a 765 KV grid line in
india is PGCIL.
