Magnetic field.But why not Transformer?

all the above answers are wrong because the motor is the rotating
machine but the transformer in static machine so motor creates
rotating magnetic field. the stator in motor is a stationary part and rotor i the rotating part those are separated in such
air gap so the flux in the stator is rotating while the rotor runs.
