how to set the overload setting in the thermal overload
relay?? is there any calculation in that??
Answer Posted / elango k
it is based on the charaterstic of olr
100% to flc can be set it is normal
85% to flc can be set it is sharp
because an olr starts to work 115% of flc
for eg. if a motors flc is 100 amps
i am setting 85amps , the olr starts to work
at 100amps it trips the motor
