Inbound,we get a call from the customer to meet their requirement. Here, soft skill has to get a proper synchro with communication & listening skills.
Outbound requires all the above qualities with convincing skills, good vocab, assertiveness and top of all is aggressiveness in a polite manner which may help to convince and transfer into the sales.
