i am using star-delta connections with reverse/forward
direction motion of the 75hp induction motor.What should be
the ratings of Main,Delta and Star contactors and why?

well you are using 75 HP(55KW) motor.its flc is 96amps at 433 volts.
1.Main contactor:200amps rating.
2.Delta:200amps.
3.star; 125amps.
