flashing in a control valve..??? is it stops
working...immediately... or eroded...slowly

Valve does not stop immediately, but of course, due to
cavity / flashing, there will be a great impact on the
valve body. This case, you need to consider some solution
to lessen this phenomena. One may be putting a restriction
on valve inlet, or changing the trim construction of the
valve, or using a high grade material.

Why does a pressure gauge installed on reactor, doesn't have any vent line below to release the pressure? Is it any kind of designing mistake or it actually does not require any vent line? And if it does not require any vent line below it then how we are gonna release the pressure built inside the pressure gauge?
