ANSWER TO A DUMMY LIKE ME.
GSM uses Time division Multiplexing and Feqn division
multiplexing. ie. time slots are given or frequency slots
are given to subscribet to communicate.(some times a mixer
of both. It is similar to one peer communicate at a
time(TDM)or each peer communicate at different volume
levels(FDM).
CDMA uses code division multiplexing. ie. full time and full
bandwidth is available for every peer communicators. but
each communication is coded by different codes. Similar to
different languages.
