why we use 4-20 mA for calibration of the instruments.why
we cant use 0-20 mA?

logic zero is show no current in circuit but we use 4 mili amp for instrument is on and ready for use and lower 4 mili amp current relation with non linear ..

We are using Rosemount 5400 series Radar Level Transmitters in all types of Sump Applications having oily water hdrocarbon petrochemical nature. What we are facing the problem frequently is that always getting reading frezzed at some value. If we do power recycling , sometimes it is working . then making same freezing problem.
