Why only mesh earthing is used in G.S.S.?

Answer Posted / ajay singh bika

In GSS there is high fault current flows to the earth so
that there may be a potental difference due to this at
ground..... so if a person stands at the surface of a
substation he can get shocked due to this potential
difference so by this mesh earthing the potential can be
spread out whole the substation surface and this surface
become equipotential.
