what will happen if a part of primary winding of a
transformer is accidentally short-circuited?
Answer Posted / abhishek singh
IN XMER WE KNOW THAT V2/V1=N2/N1.SO WHEN PRIMARY PART OF
XMER IS SHORTED THEN THERE IS NO INDUSED EMF IS PRODUSED IN
IT MEANS E1 AND DU TO THIS NO ANY FLUX IS PRODUSED.SO XMER
DOES NOT ABLE TO TRANSFORM ELECTRRICAL ENERGY TO ANOTHER
CKT .SO IT DOES NOT WORK FOR WHICH IT IS USED.
