in our sub station why we step down firstly 33kv\11kv then
11kv to 430v. can we direct step down 33v to 430.v.

yes you can, normally they use 33kv/11kv tranformer because
the side have more than 2 sustation and need more
transformer, for the 33/.433kv transformer is expensive
than 11/.433 transformer. so they just step down the HT
33KV to 11KV first than supply to two substation by using
11/.433kv transformer
