in rectifier circuit,we are using the capacitor as a filter
to remove the ac signal.but capacitor blocks dc & allows
only ac. explain about it?
Answer Posted / sonia
capacitor gets charged when AC supplied & when it reaches
the threshold value, it starts discharging, resultant of
which is linear.
ac has variable value, starting from smaller energy to
higher which allows the charging of capacitor.
dc has fixed value, & when this is supplied charging wont
take place resulting blockage.

Plot the pixel histogram( take any image) – count of values versus pixel intensity 0 to 255. You must write this from first principles – do not use the MATLAB hist command (although you may use it for comparison and checking your algorithm’s correctness). Plot the cumulative histogram. Do not use the cumsum function in MATLAB (write your own function to achieve this).
