its an operational amplifier; an IC with 8 pins producing
an amplified output of the differential inputs, V+ and V-.
The output is Vout = (V+ - V-)G, where G is the open loop
gain. The magnitude of G is controlled by the manufacturer,
whose value is in the range of million. So, even if the
input is very less, in microvolts range, output will attain
amplifier saturation.
