We operate a 10 Mw facility and we have been experiencing
several trips due to fluctuations on the MVAR? We have
checked all issues related to the AVR and we have found all
OK? Can anyone help us? The grid voltage, internal voltage,
all regular parameters look ok. MVAR fluctuate and there it
goes the unit? What could be happening? Thanks!

this could be because of the interturn winding losses that
takes place in the lines.this factor may increase the MVAR
rating of the system,which infuence the performance of thea
system.

Dear sir, my knowledge about cable size determination is limited. Though I read examples I could not calculate the Cable size required for electric driven pump 40 KW, 380 Volt, 50 HZ, 50 meter from transformer and it is three phase star delta starting. If two Transformers are connected in parallel having impedance of 50KA in both transformers will the impedance increase or decrease after connecting transformers in parallel?
As per standard, transformer body earthing and other Equipment earthing (Equipment earthing) did not connect. but in LT side termination we are doing metal glanding in both side Transformer to PCC Panel through armoured cable, now X'mer body earthing and PCC Pane earthing (Equipment earthing) both are connect.is this safe for X'mer or other equipment?
