If Two Generators are working parellel in a network and
suddenly the field of one Generator get weakened What will
happened if there is no reverse power relay fixed in that
Generator panel????
Answer Posted / nishad
If there is no reverse power relay fixed, then it
definetely work as synchronous motor. if it work as the
same, it will affect the present network, because
1, It will draw the current from the other & will trip the
particular network system.
2,Already both generator working in parellel.so if one fail
the full load of the system will be the responsible of
working one. that's why it'll trip by over load.
3, If that field weaked generator work as a motor, it
defenitelt affect the primover ( Diesel Engine / Turbin)
there will be a chance of break down if it don't stop.
IF any another answer pls welcome>>> Nishad
