WHAT DO U MEAN BY THERMAL OVER LOAD RELAY& WHERE THEY ARE
BUSED
Answer Posted / venkatesan.j
Thermal over load relay consists of bimetallic strip made
up of two metals one having high co-efficient of expansion
and the other metal having low co -efficient of
expansion ,such that when heated up the strip starts
bending . The soource of heat is provided by the load
current in the strip.
