why a vaccum is created in condenser

if the vaccum is not created in the condensor then how the steam will flow from turbine to the condensor.......???
think once.....
ok let me explain.....
the pressure of the exhaust steam will be very low, so to make the steam flow through the condensor we should maintain vaccum in the condensor.......
if u didnt understand ask again i will explain
