in a slabs the shorter sapn is to be consider design.so the
main bar is kept lower and longer direction are bar is to
kept bind to main reinforcement.
Main bars are designed to load the bending moment, super
imposed laod and stress develop. the distribution bar are
distribute of stress caused by the super imposed laod,
tempreature variation and shirnkage.
