All windings have self inductance and mutual inductance. So
Lx dI/dt effect produces oppose to current which can be
termed as back emf. In case of Induction Motor the rotor
is short cicuited secondary of transformer which produces
it's own magnetic field and back emf is iduced in primary
winding which depend upon speed of rotor and
current.
