What fluid first to be lined up in a heat exchanger whether
hot or liquid?why?

cold fluid stream is to be lined up first.if hot fluid is
lined up first ,it will not get cooled at allfor few
minutes till cold fluid is lined and full flow is
attained.pipe line expansion can also occur due to on sided
heating.
