Turbo charger driven by.............? and wat its speed
Answer Posted / raghavan.s
Turbo charger is driven by Exhaust Gas from engine. Its
speed range varies depending on the capacity of engine. Ex.
for a 6 cylinder engine(Ashokleynald say)the vol. flow rate
of exhaust gas will be more hence Turbocharger of larger
size is required, this Turbocharger has max. speed of
90000rpm...where as for a commercial vehicle say(TATA
indica 1100CC)we use Turbocharger of small Size which has
max. speed range upto 2,80,000rpm.
