then it acts like a synchronous capacitor,which generate
reactive power.all the loads we have are of lagging type,
consumes reactive power. voltage regulation may be good if
the pf is with in the limitted range only. if the pf is
incresed upto 0.9 the active power generated may be very
less and it cannot be useful as all the power useful is
active power.

When a capacitor is connected in a transmission line, capacitor also takes energy from the same supply. But how is it able to increase the terminal voltage??? at meter room 50 hrc switch installed,but there are not get earthing proper,so what happen?and 11kv transformer out put going in to hrc main 400a three nog each? so earthing is require for all switch? (some customer made earthing at there home.)
