AT THE TIME OF INSTALLING THE POWER PLANT POWER IS TAKEN
FROM NEARBY GRID AND GIVING THE SUPPLY TO THE GENERATOR
WHICH ACTS AS MOTOR. WHAT IS THE NEED OF RUNNING THE
GENERATOR AS MOTOR?

The perpose is connecting grid power to the power plant
generators for syncronized both the system such as
(volt,freqency,and phase sequence)generator or alternator
has coupled to the engine. according to the question that
motor will turn engine to the oposite derection and engine
may damaged. there for generator have protection system to
prevent this. its call reverse power protection. power
plant for support to the grid and have connected grid power
cable to the generators through individual there circuit
breakers. generator breaker cannot close with engine
standby mode. if this correct please try to understand.
