if power factor comes in leading & showing -0.95. Is there
any effect on electrical system? if yes, then please tell me
what would be the effects. & how long we keep power factor
in leading.
Keeping power factor in leading shows more KW & less KVA is
it correct or not.

It is not recommended to keep power factor leading:
1) We try to keep power factor unit to reduce transmission
losses, this main purpose will not achieved by keeping
leading power factor. If power factor is lower than unit
(it can be leading or lagging) transmission loss will
increase.
2) During leading power factor if we make any breaker
operation (close/open)it will generate high voltage across
breaker, which is harmful to breaker. For capacitive load
operation we need a special breaker.
3) It is not correct that keeping leading power factor
shows more KW and less KVA.
