sensex is also known as bse(bombay stock exchange)its based
in mumbai whereas nifty is known as nse(national stock
exchange based in new delhi. sensex is composed of top 30
companies and nifty is composed of top 50 companies.the top
companies are chosen by companies strength and turnover and
the day to day performance.
