is there any difference between protection C.T and
measuring C.T?if yes then what is the difference?

protection ct is operating below the knee point voltage but
metering ct is operating almost saturation point.accuracy is
more in metering ct accuracy is not important under normal
condition. metering ct accuracy is 25%to 120% of the rated
current but protection ct is not like that suppose the ct
5P10 and 20VA burden 10times current in primary 5% error is
acceptable up to 10 times current it will feed 20VA burden
