Why transformer neutral earthing? What is advantages?

we have to keep the neutral at zero potential and we can get 3phase four wire system, normally in home appliances we r using single phase system.at earth fault condition without neutral another 2 phase getting full line voltage if it is earthed it will build only 80% line voltage will appear
