What is the difference between emf, voltage drop and
potential difference?
Answer Posted / amolkarne
EMF : VOltage acrooss the source teminal when load is not
connected (Unit:Volt)
Voltage Drop: Drop in voltage due to current & resistance
(or impedence)in the circuit is nothing but Viltage Drop
(unit:Volt)
P.D.: Diff.in the potential (or voltage)of the two terminals
in the circuit is nothing but P.D
