redundancy is the duplication of critical components of a
system with the intention of increasing reliability of the
system, usually in the case of a backup or fail-safe.
IF IT IS FOR SOFTWARE THEN IT IS SOFTWARE REDUNDANCY(LIKE
BACKUP OF DCS)
IF IT IS FOR HARDWARE THEN IT IS HARDWARE REDUNDANCY(LIKE
COMPUTER MONITER)
