Engineering questions. This question is related to Dynamics
of Machinery, and the answer is as belows:
The function of an Isolator is to prevent the shocks from
the machine or any vibrating system to get transferred to
the floor. These are made up of Rubber or asbestos material
so as to absorb the shocks from being transmitted to the
floor.
