Stator of three phase induction motor creates Rotating
Magnetic field.But why not Transformer?
Answer Posted / rahul shewale
in stator of a 3 phase im windige are placed 120 degree
phase displacements from each othre.each phase produces its
own flux. these fluxes ara not having low reluctance
path.the resultant oo these three fluxes is a rotating
vector.so the flux is called rotating magnrtic flux
in transformer there is low reluctance
path so flux is not rotating
