in our sub station why we step down firstly 33kv\11kv then
11kv to 430v. can we direct step down 33v to 430.v.

Technically it is possible to step down voltage level to
430V directly from any upper voltage level. However, our
power system network is connected to local power plant (may
be a CPP) that generates power at 11KV level. therefore it
is requred bring the network power voltage level to 11KV
for distribution purpose.
