When water enter a condenser at a higher point, both the
gravitational and the force of input acts down wards. So the
water falls down quickly and does not reach the full volume
of condenser.
When water enter a condenser at a lower point, the
gravitational force acts down ward and input force act
upwards. The condenser fills first and then the water falls
through the output. So the water reach the full volume of
condenser and cooling is more & uniform.
