why don't we use 2 nd angle and 4 th angle
projections ??????(since there is also NOT overlapping of
VIEWS in 2 nd angle and 4 th angle projections)
Answer Posted / govind
we need only two quads to properly define a part. For
theoretical part 1st angle is gud as newbies grasp this
concept easily but manufacturing point of view 3rd is
preffered as machinist graps 3rd angle view more easily.
the reason for selecting 1st and 3rd and not 1st and 2nd or
1st and 4rth is that using diagonaly opposite quads we can
get 100% sketchable view of a part fronm every angle be it
top, front RHSV,LHSV,bottom and top. Now dont get yourself
entangled into this already messy affair and accept it as
it is because it does the job well.
