it is completely depends on the application i.e where we are
using the motor.if we require high starting torque dc series
motor is applicable or we require better speed vs current
chars. dc shunt motor is suitable,like wise depending upon
the application it will change. and the main advantage of dc
motor over ac is speed controlling ig very very easy
compared to ac motors.

What is magneto on a gas generator. how it functions. its out put is d.c or a.c. how it can be checked for correct functioning
