if we know Fault level say 25 KA , How to decide
busbar size for Distribution network of 1000 Amp
Breaker ?
Sample Calculation or Farmula Available or not ?

Answer Posted / ritesh m

When current is high then current density become constant.
You can calculate bus bar size by taking current density 1
J=I/S where j is current density, I current & s cross
section.
Then you can calculate size.
