why we express the unit of torque in Nm.even though it can
be expressed as Joule ( J )?
Answer Posted / naseeb ahmeds
The torque is directly depend on applied force& distance at
which it is acting so it is-N-m
we are getting a secondary motion from torque, which can give
us the energy but the phillosophy behind this is a motion
not an direct energy......and joule is a unit of energy.
