Basically transformer tests are of two types.
1)short ckttest 2)open ckt test
short ckt test gives us 1)copper losses 2)voltage regulation
3)lekage impedances(ie. resistance and lekage reactance )
open ckt test gives us 1)core losses 2)parallel component
values (ie Rc and Xm)3)secondary voltsge
Open ckt test will be done on lv side ,while short ckt test
will be on high voltage side
