According to general circuit diagram of 1-Phase t/f , why
the primary is not get short circuited ,even though the
supply terminals both are directly connected through
primary winding?

there is a chance of short circuit even vith
resistance,inductance.
The reason is that just the current flows through tye
path "v+,primary wdng,v-".
just path should be closed to flow current.It is the
basic rule in electricity..
