To Chetan,
Suppose u got 80 out 0f 100 in an exam.
this means u r at a pf of 0.8, the class topper got 95, so
his PF is 0.95.
Now note that KVA is ur total marks(100)
and KW is what u scored.
now its simple pf=kw/kva
