Different protection systems which is used in LV panels are:
1. Short circuit protection :- It is done by choosing set
point in sc protection relay which is present inside the CB's.
2. Thermal protection for Busbars/ cables:- Bec extreme
thermal point cause flash over
3. Over current protection
4.Protection provided by proper shielding & interlocks such
that operator & maintenance people can not accesses live parts

what is the main function of capacitors in mccs.
i have a 4 Mva transformer 34.5 kv / 480-277 v and i used 2 parallel 3200 amp bus duct for the secondary feeder using 3 ply of bus bar ( 3/8" x 5" ) as a common where the flexible link terminated and 6300 amps breaker for the main, the lower bus duct reaches 70 degrees and the upper bus duct reaches 55 degrees when i used thermal scanner. why the temperature is not balance when the load reaches 3600 amps.

Meanwhile it has been observed that 25% of material supplied was defective. Please suggest whether the issuance of C form from our side would be stopped till settlement of liabilities.
