Transformer oil is a mineral oil. It is either parafinic
based or napthaline based. Oil contains the hydrocarbons.
When the oil get heted depending upon the temperature rise
oil gets decomposed and gassed begins to evolve.
To analise the composition of the evolved gasses the method
used is called Dissloved Gas Analysis.
Evolved gasses involves Hydrogen, Carbon monoxide, carbon
dixoide, methane, ethane, ethelyene, acetylene etc.
The samples oil is used to pass through the gas
chromatography where as per the temerature rise gasses
evolved can be seen as a spectrum band.
This method is a nice tool to judge the condition of oil in
transformer subsequentely that of transforrmer winding
insulation.

How to select circuit breakers rating eg. if i select a circuit breakers of capacity 40 amps DC with operating voltage 28 volts and if i what to use same circuit breakers for 300 Volts DC application what is the current rating of this circuit breakers.
1. for eg, capacitor is used for many purposes(it act as filter, oscillator, bypass capacitor, memory storage etc...) 2. Please tell me some example circuits for different uses of capacitor( whenever and whereever and however we used capacitor as a filter, oscillator tuning etc..) 3. similarly for inductor and resistors(it act as what?) and when and how we want to act as like that?, and how we can used these components depends upon our requirments with example circuits and explanation? design to act as these components depends
